Well… with Notorious now in theaters today, it’s only right to sticky this freestyle video to the top! So enjoy and R.I.P. Biggie Smalls..
Well… here we go with the video responses… Loud.com interviews Saigon at the “Yes We Can” video shoot. Is it me, or does hearing “I got a hundred records” start to cause worry and doubt in an artist’s catalog. I mean, not an official album released, yet you have 100 records just sitting around waiting to be released… that just makes me question the quality of your music. I mean, when did that whole I recorded 100 songs for an album phenomenon start? With Tupac? I mean, ish, Saigon is one of my favorite artists out… but I don’t care how many unreleased songs are under your belt.. enough with the bragging and get the label situation worked out so we can hear Greatest Story Never Told.
I do gotta agree with him tho about the new breed of rappers getting all the publicity. Charles Hamilton.. naah, not feelin’ his music… sorry… but there is a new breed of rappers that are crazy nice… shout out to Skyzoo, Donny Goines and the like.
As for the response to Budden… you’ll have to watch to hear it. and oh yeah… on another note, if this is the way the industry is going, I need to get a video camera.
Here’s a live acapella freestyle from Big Lou from the Foundation Magazine party. If I was in NYC, I would definitely have been at this show. I’m hoping more of these videos surface as there were a number of dope artists scheduled to perform… many of which will be on Don Notz debut album.
