Late pass on this one. The folks at DJBooth.net sent me over this joint late last week of Ali Vegas literally Going In on this Young Black and Gifted Freestyle. Ali Vegas spits some real ish… I mean, that real life ish, and has been one of my favorite emcees for some time.
Generation Gap 2 still gets serious burn in the deck, and I’m hoping 2009 really turns out to be a big year for him. His album (not GG2) is supposed to be ridiculous, and not for nothing, Ali Vegas collaborated with Torae on Don Notz Lead By Example album (coming 2009) on a joint that will definitely please the underground hip hop music community. Mark my words. But for now… hit the download for more of that underground hip hop heatrock.
