TEK (Smif-N-Wessun) - Best I Ever Had G-Mix

On Wednesday, TEK (Smif-N-Wessun) linked up with Statik Selektah to record Toast to the Good Life, one of the last joints for his upcoming album, 24Kt Smoke. He also took the time out to do one of his signature G-Mixes to Drake’s Best I Ever Had Instrumental.

With Statik Selektah added to the production lineup, and a few more so-far unannounced features added, look out for 24Kt Smoke to continue the trend set forth by fellow Duck Down artists thus far in 2009. Expect it to drop this fall. But in the meantime, check out the G-mix, Best I Ever Had, as TEK keeps delivering that good hip hop music to the masses.

  1. [...] Now before Jay-Z came through and shut the city (and Twitter) down with D.O.A. (Death of Autotune); two legendary emcees released a track relaying the same message. Now granted the audience these two have isn’t at the same magnitude as Hov’s; they still reach a different type of audience (overall). So in a sense both of these are needed. Now if we can get Lupe’s Shining Down out there it would be the tri-fecta! Anyways, here goes some behind the scenes action for KRS & Buck’s upcoming video. Their collab album, Survival Skills, hits shelves September 15th. And speaking of Duck Down… I also included a new remix from Tek, courtesy of WeLiveThis. [...]
