T.I. featuring Mary J. Blige – Remember Me Video Trailer

T.I. presents the video trailer to Remember Me, which features Mary J. Blige and will appear on the re-release of T.I.’s Paper Trail: Case Closed. It seems that video trailers are now become common place within the hip hop music industry. It’s definitely a way to build anticipation, and to start getting fans talking on the blogs and forums. If you ask me, I think its brilliant. The costs are probably relatively nothing, as its all part of the actual video shoot, and rather than releasing the video and then promoting, artists are getting a jump on the promotion like T.I. is doing with Remember Me featuring Mary J. Blige.

Young Dro Checks In With B.o.B. vs. Bobby Ray

Young Dro checks in with B.o.B. aka Bobby Ray and we get some more promotional video footage as B.o.B. aka Bobby Ray prepares to release his upcoming mixtape, B.o.B. vs. Bobby Ray. I have a feeling that this identity crisis, the B.o.B. aka Bobby Ray mixtape I mean, is going to be absolutely, from start to finish, ridiculous!

Raekwon and Nas Collaboration on Only Built 4 Cuban Linx 2?

Raekwon checks in at 4 AM after a studio session to discuss the mixtapes he has in the streets, and Only Built 4 Cuban Linx 2 aka The Purple Tape Part 2. Raekwon calls out Nas and tells him that he better keep his word on a collaboration for Only Built 4 Cuban Linx 2. A Raekwon and Nas collaboration would be crazy. I got a feeling that Only Built 4 Cuban Linx 2 is going to be some serious classic material. It’s gonna be a hot summer for hip hop music. Believe that!

Wu Tang Clan – Chamber Music Tracklist x Artwork

Wu Tang Clan - Chamber Music

The Wu is back with what appears to be an incredible release. It has been announced that the Wu Tang Clan will be releasing Chamber Music on June 30, 2009. RZA is once again taking on the executive producer role, while also being featured on various tracks on the album. Chamber Music pairs the original Wu Tang Clan MCs with other 90s-era New York hip hop music veterans. Chamber Music will be, without a doubt, what many have longed for as of a late, showcasing that raw, classic hip hop sound.

Chamber Music, which, as stated, will be in stores on June 30th, 2009, will feature Wu-Tang Clan members, Ghostface Killah, Raekwon, RZA, Inspectah Deck, and U-God, along side some of the illest artists of New York hip hop over the years. The list of artists includes Cormega, AZ, Havoc of Mobb Deep, Kool G. Rap, M.O.P., Sadat X, Masta Ace, and Sean Price of Heltah Skeltah.

The throwback sound of the Chamber Music album is inspired by classic soul and kung fu imagery. (What else did you expect!?) It will feature a combination of new beats and live instrumentation by the Brooklyn soul band, The Revelations.

The tracklist for Chamber Music is as follows:

Wu Tang Clan – Chamber Music Volume 1

13. Free Like ODB [feat. RZA]

B.o.B. versus Bobby Ray – Cali Love

B.o.B. aka Bobby Ray continues the promotional campaign for his upcoming mixtape B.o.B. vs. Bobby Ray with another video clip entitled Cali Love, showcasing him and his ham squad enjoying the California weather. The mixtape highlighting B.o.B. aka Bobby Ray’s identity crisis is one that I’m looking forward to, as I know are others. Press play.

Maino – Million Bucks Video Shoot Behind The Scenes

Maino takes you behind the scenes for his video shoot in East New York for Million Bucks featuring Swizz Beatz. That yellow lambo is something serious. I still can’t believe Swizz hooks are popular though. Am I seriously the only person on this planet that thinks he has perhaps the most annoying voice in hip hop music ever? Okay, maybe not that bad, but come on, its damn near close. Maino’s album, If Tomorrow Comes is in stores June 30. Shouts to RR. Press play.
