Inspectah Deck Threatens Joe Budden In Hip Hop Interview

Inspectah Deck has some words for Joe Budden after a Raekwon performance in Staten Island. The Wu-Tang Clan MC lets it be known on RugahTV that he’s done with Joe Budden. Inspectah Deck said if Joe Budden continues to make references to him, then he’s coming for Joe Budden. Check some footage from the Raekwon show as well. Now, Inspectah Deck, nobody’s doubting your clout as a person nor artist, so lets hold on the violence. I’ll be the first to say that I’m supporting Deck in this situation as he’s legendary, and Budden should refrain from calling for attention. However, let’s keep this whole situation about hip hop music… no need for more violence in the game… and look what that tough talk did for Saigon… yup, nothing.

Raekwon talks about his beef with Biggie, and the violence that almost ensued at The Source Awards. Raekwon reveals that he had constructed a fake cast to wear to avoid detection of the gun he intended to secretly hide in his surgically wrapped hand. Thankfully, Raekwon had a change of heart, and attended the show unarmed. The two later squashed their beef before Biggie’s untimely death.

During the concert, Raekwon performed some of the classics, and some new joints from Only Built 4 Cuban Linx 2. This album can’t come soon enough. If only Nas had come through with a verse, but regardless, as Raekwon said, its his show. September 8, 2009… buy two copies.

Seriously, September 8, 2009 gets closer everyday, and if Only Built 4 Cuban Linx 2 does not do numbers, I don’t know what to think anymore. Everybody needs to be a fan on September 8, 2009. We failed with the Slaughterhouse album… let’s not do that again. 50k or bust. Is that too much to ask? Props to RR.
Raekwon Talks Nas in MTV Interview

Probably the only disappointment thus far in regard to Only Built 4 Cuban Linx 2 from Raekwon is the lack of the Nas feature… the Nas feature that was supposed to happen. I can’t blame Raekwon though, as it seems as if it was on Nas’s end. I know Nas is busy with the Distant Relatives album, for which I am definitely amped about, but seriously, OB4CL2 is probably going to be the hip hop album of the year for 2009. It’s a shame we won’t be able to hear another joint like Verbal Intercourse on it. Anyhow, check what Raekwon has to say about Nas not coming through as promised.
